From what I understand, you can just put a stamp on them and put in the mail. The post office will not run them through the postage machine. They may or may not require extra postage. Probably not a good idea to put on too many embellishments if mailing and make sure everything is very secure.

Are these mailable as is, or do they go into an outer manila envelope? they are very pretty. I also volunteer at an animal shelter and would like to do something like these for next year.
