Maybe a bit more subtle, as well . . . . I know! We can say a committee has been formed, to provide misunderstood quilters with fabric . . . and we're in charge of collections.
Wonder if they'd believe that . . . . We don't have to say who formed the committee or who the misunderstood quilters are, of course.
Well we are so often misunderstood... and we
always need more fabric... so my "bad girl" meter sees absolutely nothing wrong with this tactic. I humbly volunteer myself to be a member of your committee!
