There are lots of great videos on line. I think that a good place to start is with an Eleanor Burns Quilt in a Day Book. Her books are very well written and easy to understand. Look at the pictures here on the Quilting Board to see what you like color wise and pattern wise. And ask lots of questions. Everyone here is very helpful!!!
