Only a 3 1/2" round, not both. Or you can do as brat suggested with a 1/2 "block" on each end. If you go back and look at my blue center, each side has 4 blocks, the top and bottom have 6 blocks. You need to add that 2" difference on the sides and bottom to make it come out even so your corners would look different than mine do. If you change your block size to 3 1/2" you would have 6 blocks on each side and 8 across the top and bottom, your corners would look the same, just a smaller size
You need to decide how you want it to look.
