First of all, how do some of you do multiple quotes? So many horror stories. I could not stop to read them.
The saddest story I have besides not receiving a Thank you note is when my friend and I made 42 full size quilts for the Katrina Victims. The Church was going to New Orleans to help out and my friend decided to make quilts to deliver to the victims. I then heard about it and decided to help her. She Provided all the fabric and materials. We got this done within 3 months with most of them being tied. This caused her a lot of stress in which it affected her eye site since she had Diabetes.
Months Later, after the Quilts assumably was delivered. We heard that they were found in a trailer unit just sitting there.
We were very Devastated, in shock and without words.
