We have 2 FWs in our house...One will be going to my sister when I travel west to see family this summer. It has all the attachments, a buttonholer and the original instruction book...and in the original case. I purchased it from a coworker to whom it had been gifted by an elderly lady she cared for; the lady had purchased it during WWII. It is in beautiful shape and I paid $225 for it. The second FW my DH purchased from friends of ours who frequent all kinds of sales...this FW has no attachment with it, but is in very nice shape and was $175. Just recently I watched items on an online estate auction...which had at least 8 FWs...6 were black, one was white, and another was red (had been repainted). The red went for over $400; most of the blacks sold for under or around $200, and I believe the white went for around or just over $200. There were also many, many miniature (toy) sewing machines on this auction as well.
