It only takes two layer cakes sqs for one block.. WHOO HOO i have tons of those!!!!
I used one light and one med/dark.. and went to town...
And this is what i came up with.. " You've Got Mail" ... Not to shabby from scraps of layer cakes.. !!

I saw this pattern hanging on the wall in a crib size quilt in a shop in Walpole MA called ALL ABOUT QUILTS. NICE SHOP. It is a great pattern.
