I don't have the machine you are thinking of getting, but older Pfaff's which I love. I just wanted to advise you to read carefully the reviews on that machine. I also have a Babylock Serenade which I almost didn't buy because of negative reviews. This machine was exactly what I wanted, and I am so glad I bought it in spite of the negative reviews. I love it. Once I carefully considered what was said in the reviews, I realized all the complaints were either operator error or something that just happens with that particular feature, and not really a "problem" (like getting a knot underneath after you have used the thread cutter feature---this just happens, with any brand of machine, after using the thread cutter).
