nice! and about your 'dislike bindings' issue....maybe if you think of the binding as....Yea! the final step & it's done.
the binding is my favorite part of any quilt- because I know with that final stitch the quilt is completed & I can move on to the next on going project knowing I've completed another one. often it's just a 'frame of mind' that keeps us from finishing something- or moving forward- look at it differently & it's not such chore.
your quilt is lovely- nice that you finally decided to get it done.
