Default Little Wall Hanging

I belong to a long arm club, something like a guild but for long armers. I recently decided to challenge all of us, so every month I come up with a new challenge topic. This month's challenge was to practice scale. The idea was to set up 3 blocks and put a shape in the block, then do a single fill in 3 different sizes. I had a couple fills I wanted to test out. I got a piece of muslin, broke it up into 5 rows of 3, then got the wild idea to make a wall hanging out of it I then bordered it in a pretty batik fabric, and used the designs from the Judy Madsen book (Quilting Wide Open Spaces) and did several different fills. It looks so pretty hanging on my wall I just love it!

Pattern: Whole cloth type with designs from Judy Madsen's book
Batting: Layer of 80/20 Hobbs and a Layer of Quilters Dream Wool
Thread: Glide White and King Tut #994 Karnak (glide white in bobbin)
