Here I am holding my first place winning mini: "Bit O' Honey". My color was honey and I wanted to translate it literally, so I used honeycomb (actually chicken wire) fabric, bee hives and little bees. I won a $25 gift certificate to a LQS and two tickets to the New England Quilt Museum! This is very first prize I've ever won for my quilting!
Thank you QB members who helped me with "bee" fabrics! I couldn't have done it without you.
And yes, for those of you who did notice, the quilt is not bound! Ran out of time...
