That's lovely! I'm also making my first 'modern' quilt -- it's a quilt for a co-worker who wanted only soft grays and whites in her quilt....and modern seemed the only way to go. I'm not a fan of gray, and being the first modern quilt I've done I'm definitely trying something new. I keep wanting to put a little bit of some other color in the blocks, but I'm sticking to what was requested...even so, its hard! : )
