Oops, will also put in a new needle. That is surely over due. I bought a pkg. of 100, so why am I not changing my needle in a timely manner.

It's always the opposite tension that should be adjusted to "fix" the problem. If the bobbin tension is poor, try adjusting the top. Rethreading or a new needle or both may also help. It could be the thread although I've only found one variety that my Juki just didn't like.
