Default anybody have this happen to them???

This is a baby quilt that I finally finished, this is the one that I quilted Minky on the back.. anyway I washed it and found one of the seams came undone.. so I ripped out the quilting and was preparing to fix the seam , I thought I would just iron it a little on that seam so it would be nice and flat... well the iron was to hot and scorched the white part in the square. I was ready to just put it in the rag bag..thinking what else can go wrong with this quilt..

I went to a search here and found some really good tips on how to remove scorch marks on cotton. Thought I would let everyone know that the one using using Hydrogen Peroxide worked like magic..wow I could not believe it.. I wet a cloth with the peroxide and laid it on the scorch mark and iron over it with a iron that was not real hot and the scorch mark vanished like magic.. could not believe it.. good to know..

It's back in the washer and dryer and hope nothing else goes wrong with this quilt. Thanks for the good tips...
