Craft-Tex makes a Placemat Craft Pack of (4) 13" x 18" pieces of Bosail Craft-Tex Plus Double-sided Fusible interfacing I purchased a pack from my local quilt shop but you can Google it and fine a dealer. It is the easiest I have used to make placemats that hold their shape after many washings.
This is my 'go to' for placemats. I've tried flannel and various battings, but this porduct is worth the money. The double fusing makes it easy peasy.
