Sorry to say, that was my first thought. There are flannels for children's PJ and then there is quilters flannel. My second thought, instead of spending hours trying to get those little buggers off, I'd run it thru the laundry mat again. And see if that helps. Make sure the Mom knows it has to go to the laundry and not home wash.
