I must have the best publication ever: "Quilting with Folded Star" by Craft Course Publishers 1981, 13th Edition printed 1985. It has folded stars for potholders galore, appliance covers, placemat, tea cozy, pinafore, Renaissance Jacket, cushions, child's striped vest, bathroom boutique lid cover (for the toilet that is!), tissue cover, quilt, sewing machine cover, sunflower organizer and cushions. Publication is 16 pages long and possibly out of print by now. Once you master the simple folded stars you can make just about anything with them. Let me know if you need anymore ideas.
