And I did the same thing on the first one! I can recut and repin this one...does it really make a big difference? To me the 1 inch width balances the quilt better. By the way, this quilt measures 38X44.
It is fine, there is no reason to not leave it unless it isn't sewn down well. They ask that it be zigzag or something like that, but size isn't an issue.
