Just finished my second QFK kit and first attempt at free-motion, albeit with patterns, but FM nonetheless.
Beware of washing finished quilts with other fabrics. The black in my first kit transferred to other things in the wash with it.
Otherwise, these are fun and quick to do and a great way to help a child smile. Also great way for new quilters to get their feet wet!
