(the few that still exist) anyway they had a big table of sale fabrics the really cheap stuff as low as $1 per yard and the "good" stuff regularly about 7-9 but marked down to about 5 per yard. This bolt didn't have a price, the regular fabric worker was on break or to lunch or whatever so the lady filling in said "grab the cheapest price sticker over there and I will scan it and charge you that price" so I grabbed a $1 per yard bolt as instructed and took every spec on the bolt.
