Well you may be in luck. I just bought a box of dates with a cookie recipe. I hope it's the one your looking for.
Double date delight oatmeal cookie.
2sticks of butter. 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 cup packed brown sugar. 1 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup granulated sugar. 1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla. 3 cups quick oats
2 eggs 2 8 oz packs Amport chopped dates


Cream butter and both sugars together. Then add eggs and vanilla, combine well. Add flour, baking soda, and cinnamon and combine. Finally add quick oats and Dates and mix together. Use a tsp to drop batter into ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 11 - 12 minutes at 350 or until golden brown. Makes 4 dzn.
