Because there are only 2 seam lines the top and bottom of the bubble fabric. I have this pattern and the fabric just haven't gotten to it yet - there are actually only 2 fabrics in the quilt the one is a graduated and then the bubble (for lack of a better description. OK - three forgot the border.
What is the name of the pattern for this quilt? Since it's got only two fabrics I think I would like to try it.
