I have had many irons in the last 10 years....and they have been ok----but eventually it would fall off the ironing board and crash to the floor---not good----so I finally go an Oliso 1600---I LOVE LOVE LOVE it----since it does not have to stand on its end like regular irons....no more tipping off the board. I have had this one for almost 2 years and (knock on wood) have not had any problems.
