I know the feeling! But it really hardly shows; I couldn't see it at all at first. And overtime it will not be noticeable at all. And your grandson will never notice it and will love it!
I love your I Spy quilt! I just made a similar I Spy but just surrounded the squares with sashing. How I wish I'd done the shadow boxes as you have done. So much cuter!
