Thank you for the reminder. Back in 1998 (I think) I worked with a group of ladies, some of whom had never sewn before. We used this method to put together a Trip Around the World quilt to be raffled off for Relay for Life Cancer fund. I had forgotten about it and I can't remember from what book I got the information.
