I always lay my quilt out on the bed.....the edges on the bed. Then lay down the borders in a way you may want. Kinda like doing a test run without sewing. Sometimes I experiment with a 1" border, then a 4". Then i decide that looks wrong and I try 2" and 3"...... Whatever way you do it, I'd say at least 2 borders. I'd start with white then the floral. The white will "set the border apart" from the rest.....kinda frame the main quilt. Then after the floral, bind with the green.
