And just like a coloring book you can copy pictures on material then PAINT them. I did just one and then washed it and put it in the dryer came out beautiful. You can also add embroidery. Very relaxing and something you can do with your children/grandchildren. Let them paint pictures then you can put the blocks together for them. They can even sign the pictures. Save any white cardboard and use it behind the painted quilt block and put it in a frame for mom or grandma.
