I need help in figuring out how to use some squares my friend gave me. I have 34 -- 6inch squares and I would like to make a queen size quilt. I think that would mean I need the quilt to be approximately 90X106. I am still somewhat new to quilting, I have made quilts but I've always followed a pattern, so nothing real involved. How would I come up with the design/layout of the quilt. I have tried to draw it out but frankly I flunk in the pattern making group.
