Ragamuffin, I'm sorry I meant to say the squares will finish at 6", they're 6.5 now. However, I see that my idea probably won't work. I guess I need to re-think this whole thing. See I told you I wasn't good at this. Maybe I can try to find a table runner, lap quilt pattern or make a lot of potholders. I haven't even made potholders before, that's how much of a novice I am.
