A big YES!!!! I use 2 layers of the foam pieces that link together, on both sides of my long arm and in front of my cutting table. I could not do it without them. I actually bought mine at Harbor Freight a couple of years ago. One layer wasn't enough, but two definitely is. I do have a problem with them moving around a little, but it hasn't been anything that stopped me and made me want to get rid of them. This is the same type mats that I found at Lowe's

Forgot to add....hubby uses them in his shop when he is standing in one place for long periods. They truly help your back and feet.
