These are some of the 'treasures' I got a couple of years ago in a different swap - torn and holey fabric with the words '
massive freaky' all over it (still not worked that out); 1980 sewing patch (yes - 1980 - perhaps she thought is was 'heirloom' and not trash?); a badly stained Christmas thing, probably from the same era; half-used tea bags; coffee at it's 'Use by' date; advertising ruler and some other junk. The parcel stank to high heaven too.
I'm well aware of the adage, 'It's the thought that counts', but.............
