To reiterate what Teri has already said - parcels will vary widely in both size and content. Some people have done this swap before and shop throughout the year for bargains, making their $20 seem like elastic, whilst others will take their $20 to their LQS and buy their partner some thread or buttons to go with the 4 FQs. It is what it is.
Big is not always beautiful and hopefully you won't get anything like the one pictured
