I saw one on clearance at Walmart last summer for $50. My DGD wanted to try it so I bought it for her. All she has cooked in it is french fries.
We like packaged French fries but notice they take quite a long time to cook in the oven. I read in some of the reviews, they can take as little as 1/3 the time to cook. A lot of mixed reviews. Some love it, some not so much. But that's the same with almost anything, these days.
