I like it better without the sashing. The white sashing takes to much away from the beautiful blocks. She could arrange the blocks to make a different pattern & the off set of some of the blocks wouldn't show. For instance, turn the right hand top block & the left hand bottom block where the light blue points out & the other two points in. I can never fallow a pattern perfectly. I just have to change something in it one way or another. Tell her to hang in there as it will be a beautiful quilt.
