La Pa is pentagon based. Katja Marek has a web site for a hexagon based version. It's here: http://www.katjasquiltshoppe.com/the...uilt-along.htm. She asks participants to buy her book, "The New Hexagon," although her millefiore quilt isn't included in it. I like the pentagon based version better, however, hexagon templates are probably more readily available.

Thats true, the book is to be bought, but on her website she does have, what does look like pretty clear patterns...and her book is way less espensive than Hammerstein's. But, will see when I begin that " journey"
