Thought I would share a tip that helps a lot when the blocks are not quite the right size. I am not talking about way too small, but up to a quarter inch off is an easy fix.

I have a June Taylor ironing mat (other brands are out there too). On the back side, which is hard, I have traced my square templates in several sizes.

When a block is soo small, I get it damp and then pin it onto the appropriate square using 5 or 6 pins on each side, and leave it to dry. When I take it off the board, it is the perfect size.

I hope to join in your swap someday when life slows down a bit.... or does that ever happen!
