To those of you who say they can't grow houseplants, you need to know that many more houseplants are killed by over-watering than under-watering. Especially the aloe and Christmas cactus. The ground needs to be dry to very dry before adding water. Aloe can live for a month or more without water. My daughter was watering her aloe babies once every two months. They didn't die, but they weren't doing any growing either. They need a little more water than that.
