I've had no problem with the basic wooden cases? They are a bit clunky, but compared to todays flatbeds they are actually about the same. Freearm models alway look a bit lighter. However, I think the cabinet on my 201 makes a difference, it's so easly to guide and maneuver larger pieces of fabric on it.
