We have all done this. My latest boo-boo was sewing the strips together upside down when making a queen sized quilt. I had to rip the rows apart and restitch. The time was one thing, but over handling caused more fraying that I have to re-trim all over the quilt is far more annoying. I wish you plenty of patience fixing your quilt......Jane
