I have a flat antenna, I think it's the same as the Leaf already talked about. I works fine for me, but it all depends on where you live, the surrounding terrain, and how far it is to your local broadcast stations. Check out the antennaweb website mentioned earlier, it shows a map of your area and gives you an idea of what you can receive. I wouldn't buy the "As Seen on TV" one, it looks pretty cheap.
