I have decided to change the width of the sashing - - but I also went with a completely different color for the sashing.
burgundy!! in the picture the fabric looks more red than it actually is.. and I only have the blocks sitting on the fabric so the sashing between each blocks is not accurate... but I am much happier with this set up
