Its a kind of a "mistake" block.
I had picked out a pattern in one of the 100 blocks books, cut the fabric, put it on the sewing machine and when I went to sew it the cut pieces were there but no pattern. I have no idea which pattern I was going to use and now cant find so I improvised and made my own
Guess the fabric came out of the book and I just tossed the book in the tub with the rest. Oh well...its a nice block to make, whatever it is! LOL
