Both methods have merit. If you car pool, there are the social aspects. Chatting with other quilters on the way can be a lot of fun. On the other hand, you have to deal with the one person who is chronically late (I used to car pool to things with one of those) and the woman who insisted on regaling the group with what she has done in minute detail (as in, first we drove down Clay Rd and turned right into a subdivision . . .) so that sometimes you wish you were alone
I would actually rather go on my own time schedule and just meet up there.
