I agree. We used to live in Orlando too and it does get cold in the winter. I always had a comforter on my bed. This was before I started quilting.
I still have a comforter
But I did piece at duvet cover and quilt it to flannel so it looks quilty. I'm making a quilt to hopefully get rid of the comforter. Hopefully.
