I am forever grateful for 4-H. I learned to sew in 4-H and it was much better than the sewing classes at school. I also learned about costs and money management through them. I first started sewing doll clothes in shapes of "T" when I was 6, but 4-H and the love of sewing had been my passion for ever and I'm in my 70's now. 4-H teaches you how to sew using the best methods. I've won ribbons at county fairs and at quilt shows. I have mostly been into quilting since the 1980's. Thank you so much for helping these kids. You never know who you might touch that will give them the passion of a lifetime.

ps: I had to take a class in judging sheep and pigs while in 4-H. The first date with my husband was to the county fair. We went to see the animals and they happened to be judging pigs. I told him which pig would win and it did. He said he was so impressed that he had to marry me. 35 years next month. GO 4-H
