The only problem with sewing all these blocks is that I need to actually sew them together to make quilts. I like making blocks, but I don't like putting them together so much.My quilting friends tell me it's because I do the slap and sew technique, that's where you take a long strip and sew it to the edges, but what happens is that you get too much fabric and it won't lay flat. I actually have to measure my block��, cut the the sashing that size and then make it fit with much finiggling here and there. Oh, well at least I know what to do, just need to do it. Plus I found my sunbonnet sue and sam blocks I made a couple years ago, I probably should finish that also, and maybe the 2 or is it 4? QOV's I've got started.
