If you are interested in a mid arm like the Tiara, Sweet 16 or something like that check out the longarm university web site. Then check consistently. It took me a couple of months or more till my Sweet 16 came up. It is used but I have already put more stitches on it than the original owner. They list all makes and models in locations all over the country. I had to wait for one to come close to me. Good luck
I agree with this. I bought a used Gammill--there is no way I could have afforded a new one when I got mine in 2013. Since you said that you won't be doing anything larger than a wallhanging,
anyway not yet it sounds like the future might bring some larger quilts. I'd suggest you get as large of machine as you have space and can afford. Used are fine.
