Charity-Crafter.......I have the exact same quilt on my design board....the very first one shown...the girl dolls. I'm eager to finish it up for donation to Project Linus. If I can figure out how to do a picture from my phone...I'll post it. I'm a little leery because it is not usual quilting fabric....it's kind of crinkly (kind of like seersucker), so hope it quilts up okay.
I adjusted the hair a little, the original pattern had almost strands that looked like yarn, but I'm too lazy to cut out and applique so much for the hair. I made it more bow type hair, much easier to cut out and stitch around. I'd love to see a photo of the blocks you have.
I found this pattern at Joann's a few years ago and fell in love with it. I love making dolls, but have a hard time finding kids who want dolls anymore. So this gives me an outlet for my love of dolls and quilts.
