I consider my quilts finished when they are layered, quilted, binding finished and washed. I don’t always put a label on as most of my quilts are given to charity. The guild puts their own label on as well as the church that I donate quilts to. If I am making as a gift for someone, I add a personalized label when sewing the binding on. I always wash the quilts whether donated, gifted, or not.
