There are 9 sections, five of one and four of the other. At first I made them one section at a time, but then I went into assembly line mode and made three of one and three of the other...sewing 3 of each piece of a section before I went on to the next step. I am not sure which was the best way to go.
I took a day off and am now sewing the 9 sections together. I am one of those rare birds who has to finish one quilt before I allow myself to start another. It works for me and means I don't have unfinished products, (though I do have a large stash of fabric) but every once in a while I wish I had a UFO to go play with while my mind takes a break from a challenging quilt. And this one has been challenging for me. I do think I will really like it though.
